Crocheting brings me much peace and relaxation. Creating something from next to nothing for another person fills me with real happiness. I learned the basics of crochet when I was much younger from my Grandmother, but never did much with it. A while back I was determined to make a wonderful handmade blanket for someone dear to me, so I decided to pick it back up again - and this time dove in completely. I fell in love with it. Since then I've been creating items around the clock and loving every second of it. Seeing someone happy and using or wearing something that I've made fills me with such happiness and pride.
